We, Gesellschaft für praxisbezogene Forschung und wissenschaftliche Lehre gGmbH as the holding company of PFH Private University of Applied Sciences Göttingen, take the protection of your personal data very seriously and abide strictly by the regulations laid down in federal and state data protection legislation. Personal data are collected on this website only insofar as is technically necessary. Under no circumstances are they sold or forwarded, on other grounds, to third parties.

 

The following statement provides you with an overview of how we guarantee this protection and what data are collected, for what purposes.

 

 

Data Processing on This Website

Gesellschaft für praxisbezogene Forschung und wissenschaftliche Lehre gGmbH automatically collects and stores, in its server log files, information transmitted to us by your browser. This information includes:

 

  • Browser type/version
  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL (the page previously visited)
  • Host name of the accessing computer (IP address)
  • Time of the server request.

 

We cannot identify particular individuals from these data. These data are not combined with other data sources and, furthermore, the data are deleted following a statistical evaluation.

 

Cookies

The web pages use "cookies" at several points. They are used to make our site more user-friendly, more effective and more secure. Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer and stored by your browser. Most of the cookies we use are "session cookies". They are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Cookies do not cause any damage on your computer and do not contain viruses.

Nature, Extent and Purpose of the Collection and Use of Personal Data

In general, you can use the website www.pfh.de without personal data being collected. In some cases, however, we need personal data from you, for example when you order information material, contact us for advice or register for an event. For these purposes, we will collect your first and last name, your e-mail address and, where applicable, your address details and your telephone number. We will collect and store these data in order to handle your request.

 

Marketing and Advertising Purposes

We will use your personal data transmitted via the website www.pfh.de for marketing or advertising purposes only if you have given your consent or insofar as this complies with statutory regulations.

 

Newsletter

If you would like to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we require a valid e-mail address from you and information that will allow us to verify that you are the owner of the specified e-mail address or its owner agrees to receiving the newsletter. No other data are collected.

You may at any time revoke your consent to storage of the data, the e-mail address and its use for dispatching the newsletter. To do this, simply send an informal e-mail to newsletter(at)pfh.de or click on the unsubscribe link provided in any newsletter.

 

Right to Information and Deletion of Your Data

Facebook

Google +1

Capture and Disclosure of Information:

Twitter

Functions of the Twitter service are integrated on our web pages. These functions are made available by Twitter Inc., Twitter, Inc. 1355 Market St, Suite 900, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA. Using Twitter and the "Re-Tweet" function links the web pages that you visit to your Twitter account and makes them known to other users. Data are also transferred to Twitter in the process.
